Labor Day weekend is your final opportunity to see Sean Kenney’s Nature Connects® Made with LEGO® Bricks at Old Westbury Gardens.
The exhibition features 17 larger-than-life sculptures made from more than 300,000 LEGO bricks. Inspired by plants, animals, and the natural world, the colorful creations are displayed throughout the historic gardens.

Start Labor Day with a run—or an enthusiastic walk—along the Long Beach boardwalk during the 36th annual Robert C. McAvoy Labor Day 5-Mile Race.
The flat, accurately measured course begins and ends near Laurelton Boulevard and the boardwalk. Registration and T-shirt pickup begin at 6:30 AM, and the race starts at 8 AM. Baby strollers are not permitted on the course.
Even if you are not racing, the boardwalk setting makes this a great opportunity to cheer on local runners and enjoy an energetic start to the holiday.

Although TOBAY Beach is generally limited to Town of Oyster Bay residents, The Boat Yard states that nonresidents may visit the restaurant. Tell the attendant at the toll booth that you are going to The Boat Yard to receive a complimentary two-hour parking pass.
