I'm thrilled to share this week's local business of the week: The Parkway Diner. Located on Douglaston Parkway, less than a block north of Northern Boulevard, The Parkway Diner is an easy favorite of ours.
We discovered The Parkway Diner many years ago. We love a good brunch & The Parkway Diner always delivers. It's also where I first discovered For Five coffee.
Pre-pandemic, we would go at least once a month. With young children, we would arrive early before the brunch rush. The staff was always super friendly & attentive.
And the beautiful renovations completed last year were fantastic!
It's been tough for the restaurant industry during COVID, but The Parkway Diner has been innovating from the start. With heated outdoor patio dining & now gorgeous patio dining, The Parkway Diner hasn't skipped a beat!
This weekend, we decided to order a special breakfast to go. It was my sister in laws birthday, so we went all out. I had my FAVORITE Cali Benedict – poached eggs, avocado, tomato, and hollandaise sauce with a dash of chives on toasted English muffins. We also had three orders of Challah French toast & silver dollar pancakes. Lastly, we would be remiss if we didn't have the Avocado Toast with sweet cherry tomatoes, feta, mint, sesame seeds, chili flakes, and a fried egg.
Only the freshest ingredients. Everything was so delicious. And, it only took 20 minutes from when I ordered to when it was ready for pick up.
